Housing Market Renewal Pathfinders
Invigour has considerable experience in project planning and programme management for two Housing Market Renewal Pathfinders in the Midlands.
RENEW North Staffordshire
Invigour led and directed a multi disciplinary design team inputting to the delivery of a prospectus to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) for the renewal of the housing market in North Staffordshire, helping identify a £800m programme of interventions.
Acting as both Project Director and Project Manager, Invigour worked within a consortium to develop the Housing Market Renewal prospectus for submission to ODPM to secure funding for the first stage of a fifteen year programme of intervention.
The study encompassed master planning and urban design, transportation, housing market analysis, economic appraisal, financial modelling and stakeholder consultation involving a number of consultants and close working with the internal local authority team and others, including the Regional Development Agency, Advantage West Midlands.
The final prospectus was commended for its quality by ODPM, was highly praised by the Audit Commission and enabled North Staffordshire to access and secure significant public sector investment in the conurbation.
